This site is home to Kim Davenport, pianist, teacher, and writer based in Tacoma, Washington.
As a soloist and collaborative artist, she is committed to exploring and sharing works by under-represented composers, with a particular focus on music by black composers.
As a teacher, she enjoys working with students of all ages, beginning to advanced, interested in serious study of the piano.
Kim is also active as a researcher, writer, and teacher of a range of music courses for local colleges.
